Major Home Renovations
Project: Downingtown, PA
Scope: This was a 1970’s built colonial home which had been “well worn.” Significant settling had occurred. The home was totally gutted and reframed with a small two story addition attached. Berzinsky Architects redesigned both the floor plans and finishes to a contemporary “retro” style home.
The main features of this project are the kitchen/family area and the spacious bathrooms. The exterior of the house was also redone reflecting simpler and cleaner lines and using more weather resistant materials. The plumbing, HVAC and electrical were totally demolished and updated to be more efficient and attractive. This project included multiple custom built furniture and cabinetry units.
